Nigerian-owned Businesses Affected

The attention of the Consulate-General of Nigeria has been drawn to a fire incident that occurred at the Yeoville Market on the 21st of June 2022.

Preliminary reports indicate that twenty-four (24) shops belonging to foreign nationals were destroyed by fire, including two (2) Nigerian-owned shops.

The Consulate-General is saddled by the dead the sources of livelihood of toiling families have been destroyed by the incident.
